The goji berry, sometimes called the happy berry, symbolises the type of experience we are striving to bring you; vibrant, colourful, joyful and life enhancing. Our food is vegetarian, wholesome, nutritious and lovingly prepared from start to finish. We are passionate about the quality of our dishes which is why we work without microwaves and aluminium pans, but with local suppliers and organic produce. Most of our food is freshly made on the premises from only natural ingredients without additives, colourings or flavourings.

"Seeking something sweet, I requested organic apple strudel with cinnamon, lemon and elderflower ice-cream. There was no elderflower ice-cream left, but the alternative summer fruit version was most acceptable to Ann as well. As for the strudel, it is a long time since I tasted one so good."

"I was on a short break in York earlier this week and visited the cafe with my parents both in their mid 80's and my vegetarian daughters (I'm not). I had the trio of salads which were superb. My mother was very taken with the sweet potato and butternut squash soup and a
sked for the recipe which you kindly wrote out and gave her. She was tickled pink.

Hi guys, My husband booked a surprise b'day meal for the two of us a couple of weekends ago and I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed it. The food was fantastic (even my carnivore other half was impressed), our waitress was lovely and the company and poetry of Fynn was even more enjoyable!
