STARTERS

 

Cream of Fennel Soup

A delicately flavoured soup enhanced with orange zest and a swirl of cream  sets the soup off beautifully.  Served with warm bread

(Vegan option and Gluten free) £5.00

 

Feta and Beetroot Tartlet

A puff pastry tartlet filled with a beetroot and egg puree and topped with feta cheese cubes and alfalfa sprouts. The tart is accompanied by a side salad £5.00

Potato and Coconut Koftas

Potato , peanut,  spinach, fresh coriander and spices, rolled in coconut and deep fried, then served with a spicy tomato sauce and fresh lime wedges £6.00 (Vegan and GF)

 

Chef’s Salad

e.g. a fresh mixture of thinly shredded crunchy Jerusalem artichoke, carrot, beetroot, and a light avocado and walnut dressing , on a bed of green leaves topped with a slice of white silken tofu, served with warm bread

MAIN COURSES

 

Hazelnut and smoked cheese lasagne

This is a rich lasagne combining oak smoked cheddar with mushroom and spinach, roasted hazelnuts and finished with oyster mushroom. The dish is served with your choice of roast beetroot or organic buttered green beans £13.00

Brown Lentil Shepherds Pie

A warming layer bake of brown lentils, and winter vegetables topped with creamy leek mash and

toasted sunflower seeds, served with your choice of  roasted beetroot or organic green beans, a miso gravy and black pudding (Vegan option. GF) £11.50

An Aubergine Moussaka

A ratatouille of organic peppers, courgette and aubergine slowly simmered in a red wine and tomato sauce, with an egg and yoghurt topping scattered with cumin and sesame seeds . Served with a small couscous pilaf  (Vegan option GF £12.00

 

DESSERTS

Chocolate Roulade

a light chocolate roll laced with cognac, filled with fresh cream and black cherries

(Gluten Free) £5.50

Blueberry Cheesecake

On a base of crushed amaretti biscuits, blueberries are encased in a creamy cheesecake with a hint of vanilla £5.50

Mango Mousse

A deliciously lightly whipped mousse served with our own homemade cardamom and pistachio shortbread biscuits (Vegan , GF option) £4.50

Lemon Tart

A tangy tart with an all butter pastry served with crème fraîche, cream or ice cream £5.50

 

A choice of Organic Ice Creams and Vegan Ice Creams are also available

We serve Vegan and Gluten Free options. If you have any other dietary requirements, or special party bookings, please discuss them with us, and we will do our best to address them.

We do not apply a service charge. Gratuities are at your discretion and go directly to staff.

Evening meals are served from 6.30 pm, last orders taken at 9.30pm
