STARTERS

Cream of Celery and Apple Soup with Spring Nettle Dumplings


A delicately flavoured soup made with this season's celery and Bramley apple enhanced with orange zest and with tasty iron rich dumplings made with fresh nettles from Chef's garden ( Vegan option) £5.00



Goat's cheese and Green Raisin salad

Goat's cheese round served on a bed of salad leaves with shade dried green raisins and figs, a blueberry and mulberry coulis and warm bread (Gluten free option) £6.00



Wild Rice

A delicious mix of wild rice, pistachio nuts, apricot, and rocket with the smoky flavour of a sesame oil dressing £5.50



Chef's Salad

e.g. a fresh mixture of thinly shredded crunchy Jerusalem artichoke, water chestnut, carrot, arame seaweed and a light avocado and walnut dressing , on a bed of green leaves topped with a slice of white silken tofu, served with warm bread (Vegan and Gluten Free) £5.00



MAIN COURSES



Slow cooked Vegetable Tagine with Olive and Sundried Tomato Loaf

Your tagine has been cooking slowly since lunchtime on the minimum heat to ensure the maximum flavour and nutrition, and contains chickpeas, prunes, butternut squash and mild spices. Served with a slice of colourful couscous, olive and sun dried tomato loaf (Vegan option on this dish) £12.50



Asparagus and Chestnut Mushroom Risotto

Arborio rice, oven baked in white wine and red onion, is brought to the stove to be hand finished with brown mushrooms, spinach, cream, and asparagus (Gluten free) £12.00



Aubergine Moussaka

A layered bake of roasted aubergine, courgette, peppers, red onion and sliced potato covered in a rich tomato gravy, and then topped with a creamy béchamel sauce, oak smoked cheddar and sesame seeds) Served with salad garnish and garlic bread £11.50


DESSERTS

Chocolate Roulade

A light chocolate roll laced with cognac, filled with fresh cream and black cherries

(Gluten Free) £5.50



Cheesecake

We make ours on a base of crushed amaretti biscuit, and use full fat cream cheese for a richer experience. For tonight's flavour please ask your waitress. £5.50



Mango Mousse

A deliciously lightly whipped sugar free, mousse served with our own homemade butter shortbread biscuits (Vegan option, Sugar free, GF option) £4.50



Apple and Rhubarb Strudel

A lightly spiced apple and garden rhubarb mixture, scattered with flaked almonds and encased in puff pastry. Served with cream or ice cream, or yoghurt (Vegan) £5.50



Blueberry Heaven with Carob dusting


If you feel quite full after the main course but want something light as a cloud, sweet, yet totally sugar free, then let us tempt you with this fabulous dessert; on a base of dates and crushed nuts, blueberries have been blended with cashew cream and coconut butter, then chilled and dusted before serving with carob. Irresistible! (Vegan, Sugar free, Gluten free) £5.00



A choice of Organic Ice Creams and Vegan Ice Creams are also available, served with a fresh fruit coulis and our own homemade shortbread

We do not apply a service charge. Gratuities are at your discretion and go directly to staff.



Evening meals are served from 6.30 pm, last orders taken at 9.30pm
