"I was on a short break in York earlier this week and visited the cafe with my parents both in their mid 80's and my vegetarian daughters (I'm not). I had the trio of salads which were superb. My mother was very taken with the sweet potato and butternut squash soup and asked for the recipe which you kindly wrote out and gave her. She was tickled pink.
I would like to say thank you. They don't get much opportunity to travel far these days and the kindness shown by everyone was one of the highlights of our trip" Sept 2010.

Hi guys, My husband booked a surprise b'day meal for the two of us a couple of weekends ago and I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed it. The food was fantastic (even my carnivore other half was impressed), our waitress was lovely and the company and poetry of Fynn was even more enjoyable!
