Lesley Williams MA Fine Art Leeds Metropolitan University. Born in York she
has worked in Art and Design for over 30 years, teaching at many levels and
exhibiting regularly. Her work has been purchased by customers both here
and abroad. Lesley will be showing as part of this years York Open Studios

The series of semi- abstract paintings select from natural settings the
colour movement and forms that suggest the feeling found in a specific
moment. They depict elements of water, landscape and gardens. Colour and
translucence are used to suggest what might lie beneath or beyond the
surface, the spaces around a subject make up the whole.
All work is oil on canvas, is framed and for sale. Commissions are
undertaken.
